BIBLE MEDITATION:
"But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation." 1 Thessalonians 5:8
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
A preacher has this little saying "Well, so long! Love God. Hate sin. And watch out for trucks!"

Now, that's good advice. Trucks will hurt you if they hit you. It doesn't matter whether you're saved or lost.
We all need to love God. We all need to hate sin. But I want to tell you we are also human and we need to watch out for the things in life that may hurt us. God has given us the mind of Christ and we need to use that mind (see 1 Corinthians 2:16).
ACTION POINT:
Is your head in the clouds today? Are you alert to the things of this world that could harm you? Be sober. Be alert. And watch out for trucks!
